This blog is published for the sake of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and the thousands of Muslims raised or reverts, or even non-Muslis, who might be living in areas where they are not able to experience Ramadan in a Muslim community; so we, at MWA, invite you to be a part of our community in Ramadan.

MWA's Saba N Taylor shares her day 15 iftar: Tuna Egg Rolls

Masha Allah! My sister made the best tuna egg rolls EVER for iftar tonight! Tuna is a favorite in our house-hold! This is one of her specialty items that is always a big hit when she serves it to guest. They are a great side dish or if you eat them the way I do, are a meal in their little selves!

Cabbage and Tuna Egg Rolls

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg Coleslaw mix
  • 1 pkg egg roll wrappers
  • 1 can Tuna (12 ounce)
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • Cover and steam until cabbage is tender.
  • Set mixture aside and allow it to cool completely.
  • Place a heaping spoonful of cabbage mixture and a sprinkle of cheese in center of egg wrapper. Follow wrapping instruction on egg roll wrapper package.
